ESMHD SIGs: Children & Medical Issues training meetings 23rd - 26th
of October 2002 Madrid.
To all whom are interested in activities of the Special Interest Groups
of the ESMHD,
In the autumn of 2002, both the Special Interest Groups for Children
and Families and Medical Issues in Mental Health and Deafness have planned
training meetings at a university residential training Centre at Miraflores
de la Sierra, which is a mountain village near to Madrid.
Program
SIG Training Meetings: Wednesday 23rd (afternoon) & Thursday 24th
Friday
25th (Morning) The SIG groups will meet in separate rooms at the same
venue.
In both groups, participants will present case histories with a discussion
afterwards.
ESMHD AGM 2002 on Friday 25th (Afternoon): at the Universidad Aut?noma
de
Madrid, Facultad de Psicolog?a. ESMHD Council Members only.
Day Conference on Saturday 26th with Spanish professionals & students
at the
Universidad Aut?noma de Madrid. Facultad de Psicolog?a.
Topic: Deaf Children and Families Mental Health. Issues in Spain
Cost of the SIG Training Meetings will be Euro 300, which includes:
Group Transport from Madrid to the residential training Centre and return
to
central Madrid.
Accommodation from Wednesday 23rd to Friday 25th (22 persons in bedrooms
shared with one other delegate)
Dinner Wednesday 23rd
All meals Thursday 24th
Breakfast and lunch Friday 25th
As there are few bedrooms in the residential training Centre the number
of
participants at the SIG training meetings are limited. Your 'passport'
to
the SIG meeting will be early pre-registration and presentation of a
small
paper to stimulate discussion at the training meeting.
PLACES ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO FACILITATE OPTIMUM LEARNING OPPORTUNITY
AND
MAXIMUM INTERACTION. THEREFORE, EARLY PRE-REGISTRATION IS STRONGLY
RECOMMENDED AS PLACES WILL BE ALLOCATTED ON A FIRST COME FIRST GO!
